Fondled by the Kura River, Tbilisi is a captivating destination not only because its famous traditions such as the Tbilisoba festival which goes back all the way to 1979, but it’s full of history rich landmarks such as the Narikala fortress, the Anchiskhati Basilica, the Sioni Cathedral or the Church of Metekhi. The sulfuric baths of Abanotubani are a must-visit, along with the Kartlis Deda monument, the Sameba Cathedral also called the Holy Trinity Cathedral, or Vorontsov’s Palace.
